David B. Wortman

Dave has spent his entire career working with start-up companies in the technology arena, where he has raised multiple rounds of venture capital and taken a company public and then private. As Venture Partner with Spring Mill Venture Partners and Advisor with ARCH Development Partners, Dave has assumed active management and advisory roles in portfolio companies, including CEO of SonarMed and Executive Chairman of Akoya.

As Chairman/CEO of Made2Manage Systems, he led its growth from a small VC-backed company to a public company and subsequently took it private in a transaction with Battery Ventures. Dave was also former CEO of Mezzia, co-founder and director of Pritsker Corporation, and director of Cohesia, Vastera and Walker Information. He is also a director and past chairman of the TechPoint Foundation and former director of the Indiana 21st Century Research and Technology Fund. Dave is a recipient of the Ernst & Young Indiana Entrepreneur of the Year Award in technology. He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in industrial engineering from Purdue University.
