Elizabeth Long

Principal & CFO — CFO of VC Firm and VC-backed Startups, Angel Investor

In addition to her long career in public accounting and academia, Betsy has been an active private investor and a member of the ARCH Development investment team, which she joined as Chief Financial Officer in September 2004. She is a competent financial strategist, who played a key role in guiding several ARCH portfolio companies to valuation inflection points. Of note, Betsy was instrumental in raising subsequent venture capital for NephRx Corporation, an ARCH Development Fund portfolio company in which she is Treasurer as well as an angel investor.

Betsy is the Acting CFO of WisdomTools and former CFO of Adeptia, two ARCH portfolio companies. She earned her CPA and completed her M.A. degree in Accountancy from Western Michigan University. Contact: elong@midwestvp.com
