Investment Focus

Diversifying Our Portfolio across Stage and Sector
Employing our operational/mentoring and venture experience and utilizing our multi-state network, we are typically the first institutional investors into deals that have graduated from angel groups or accelerators. Investments are concentrated in early-stage deals, with consideration for exceptional seed deals with an acceptable time to exit and opportunistic later-stage deals.

Applying Domain Expertise in Life Sciences and Technology
Investments are diversified across sector with focus in areas of core competency – the life sciences and technology markets – although the Fund will also maintain some investments in related technology markets where partners can bring significant domain expertise and offer more value than capital alone. Life sciences deals, which are typically slower to mature but offer larger returns, are balanced by quicker-to-exit technology deals, with sometimes smaller returns.
